In-house manufacturing
Custom electrical switchboards
We design and build distribution, power and control switchboards in our workshop in O Porriño, from the simplest to those with the most advanced technology.
Own workshop
Build quality
We follow rigorous manufacturing methods and use components from leading brands to deliver switchboards that meet the most demanding expectations. All our switchboards carry the CE marking.
When the switchboard includes equipment that needs programming or parameter setting, our engineering team takes care of it, so you receive it ready to run. We build for sectors such as:
- Marine
- Industry
- Power distribution
- Food industry
- Industrial refrigeration
- Automotive
- Water and pumping
- Wood
What we build
Types of switchboard
Distribution
Main and sub-distribution low-voltage boards for industry, ships and industrial buildings.
Control
With PLCs, touch panels and SCADA supervision for process control.
Power and drives
With AC and DC drives, soft starters and servo drives.
Marine
Switchboards for ships, both newbuilds and repairs.
ATEX
For explosive atmospheres, with ATEX marking and full documentation.
Pumping
Control and protection of booster sets and drainage systems.
Speciality
ATEX panels for explosive atmospheres
We design and build control and power panels in our own workshop for areas with a risk of explosion from gas or dust, delivered finished, fully wired and with all the documentation.
Learn more about ATEX panels
Safety in areas at risk of explosion
Gases, flammable vapours and combustible dust are present in many industrial processes. Ordinary electrical equipment can become the spark that triggers an explosion, putting people and the installation at risk.
The European ATEX directives (ATmosphères EXplosibles) are mandatory and require equipment installed in these areas to be designed and certified for each type of risk. At TD2E we handle any requirement for Ex enclosures and panels, from design to delivery.
- Chemicals
- Petrochemicals
- Food industry
- Agriculture
- Energy
- Mining
- Marine
ATEX zones
Regulations classify areas according to how often an explosive atmosphere may be present, whether from gas or dust.
| Gas | Dust | Presence of explosive atmosphere |
|---|---|---|
| Zone 0 | Zone 20 | Frequent or for long periods |
| Zone 1 | Zone 21 | Occasional in normal operation |
| Zone 2 | Zone 22 | Infrequent and short-lived |
Types of protection
We choose the type of protection according to the zone, the substance present and the equipment the panel has to house.
Ex dFlameproof
The enclosure withstands an internal explosion and prevents it from spreading outside.
Ex eIncreased safety
Additional measures that prevent arcs, sparks and dangerous temperatures in the components.
Ex nZone 2 protection
Equipment that, in normal operation, cannot ignite the surrounding atmosphere.
Ex pPressurisation
Internal overpressure of air or inert gas keeps the explosive atmosphere out of the panel.

How we work
From your drawings to your plant
- EngineeringWe start from your schematics or design them ourselves in EPLAN.
- ManufacturingWe assemble and wire the switchboard in our workshop.
- ProgrammingWe program and set up the equipment that needs it.
- DeliveryWe deliver it fully documented and, if you need it, install and commission it.
